Great article, I really enjoyed reading through it. We have recently posted the evidence video from our investigation at the Skirrid Inn - where we captured some pretty interesting activity.

Rhymney Breweries owned the Skirrid during the early 60s and I was a member of the Firms own Architects Department responsible for renovation works in progress circa 1963.

Together with the Chief Architect Alwyn Morgan I was in the premises and on the staircase We both heard screams and shouts of "dont Kill me" We had not been drinking, we were shaken

Mrs P - thanks for visiting Strange Days. Alas, I don't know if any females were executed at the inn. However, the Skirrid is believed to have a female spirit, Fanny Price, who worked at the inn, and died in 1873. Her presence is most strongly felt in room 3. I've also briefly visited the Skirrid, and wrote about my impressions here:

I do love this country, where we can have buildings with such rich histories like this one. Even if it were not haunted, a building that historic is bound to be spooky anyway.

Excelent article Siani! really well written, im not glad that i read it before bedtime though lol.

If you think about all the negative energy that must have flowed through that inn, its easy to understand how some of it could have stayed within the walls
