The Paracast

Check out The Paracast. It has a large archive of paranormal-themed podcasts in MP3 format, with an emphasis on ufology. They are free to download. So if you don't have time to sit glued to your PC, you can upload them to a media player or burn them to CD, and take them with you wherever you go. Highly recommended.

The Paracast is awesome. The guys there are very cool, too. Over at we've just gotten our bi-weekly podcast rolling along again, and they helped our host get set up for interviews. Check it out if you get a chance, I think you'll like it! New one coming up day after tomorrow.

Sianikatt --

I agree wholeheartedly. Because of Jeremy Vaeni, I recently discovered The Paracast and have devoured all the archived episodes back through June. Solid thinking on the parts of the hosts (though I think if I had the opportunity to be interviewed by them it might be a unnerving experience...).

There was an episode involving a woman who hosts a paranormal interview show based here in Vegas, but because of a few pointed questions it became clear she is another "merchant" with no interest in challenging the truthfulness of her guests ... and saved me some trouble by making it clear her show was not worth my time.

Yes, very much worth the time of the thinking person interested in the paranormal.

I'll definitely check out your podcast, Dustin. I'm a member of Thothweb, which I believe is the sister site of Book of Thoth, so I'll be checking it out very soon. I love the article archives on Thothweb, and the downloads. It's a fabulous resource for those of us interested in the paranormal.

Daniel - I love the approach of the hosts on Paracast. I have a particular dislike of the hoaxers and scammers who populate ufology and other paranormal research fields. Genuine witnesses of unusual phenomena have a hard enough time getting taken seriously as it is, without amoral types muddying the waters for their own ends. I've come across a one or two paranormal-themed podcasts where the hosts, as you say, are just "merchants" on the make. I've come across other hosts who are sincere enough, but very gullible. So the Paracast guys are a breath of fresh air, because they don't mince their words when it comes to hoaxers and scammers. I think it's very important to question the veracity of reports, to filter out the BS.

Jeremy Vaeni, who Daniel's talking about, is actually our host over at BoT now. We just put out another new podcast today, with an interview with Gary David.

And, if you ever want to know the honest truth about the history between Thothweb and Book of THoTH, I've been at BoT since the beginning and have seen it all first hand. So e-mail me if you're interested. Needless to say, though...not a sister site. The two founders of Thothweb split off of BoT a year or two ago.
